HOW MINI STOLE THE MOTOR SHOW

The last Motor Show was held at London's Docklands and, as you might expect, MINI was the centre of attention.

Over 7,500 visitors came to our MINI owners area alone. This was a unique MINI BARge, with three bars, three sundecks, four themed rooms and even its own games area.

Not only did thousands of MINI fans drop by our stand, they also helped us raise a healthy sum for charity by playing our fake invaders game where the MINI was transformed into a games console.

The big crowds had plenty of cars to feast their eyes on, too. Not just the current MINI range, but also two new cars:

  • The MINI Concept London – a modern interpretation of the '60s Mini Traveller celebrating the100 years since the birth of the original MINI designer, Sir Alec Issigonis
  • The limited edition MINI Cooper S with JCW GP Kit – fans got up close to Number 0001, the very first car of 2,000 being produced

Both new cars set tongues wagging throughout the ten day show.

Above all, the show was a great opportunity for us to mix and mingle with MINI owners and enthusiasts. It's always great for us hear your views and chat about all things MINI
